Make one chocolate cake in two 9″ round pans. You can use a box mix, but I like using Chocolate Oil Cake recipe.<\/p>\n
Cool the cake and then slice the layers so you have 4 layers.<\/p>\n
Whip 1\/2 pint whipping cream, add 1\/4 cup powdered sugar. Spread between layers.<\/p>\n
CHOCOLATE FUDGE FROSTING<\/p>\n
Heat: 4 Tablespoons butter or margarine<\/p>\n
4 Tablespoons hot water<\/p>\n
4 Tablespoons cocoa powder<\/p>\n
Remove from heat.<\/p>\n
Add: 1 teaspoon vanilla<\/p>\n
about 3 cups powdered sugar<\/p>\n
Beat well by hand (a wooden spoon works well).<\/p>\n
Stir together and spread on cake. Frosting hardens if left uncovered on counter, so cover if not using right away, also it needs to be refrigerated, but so does the cake.<\/p>\n

VANILLA FROSTING<\/p>\n
Heat: 4 Tablespoons butter or margarine<\/p>\n
4 Tablespoons hot water<\/p>\n
Remove from heat.<\/p>\n
