2 sticks margarine<\/p>\n
3 Tablespoons Cocoa powder<\/p>\n
1 teaspoon baking soda<\/p>\n
1 teaspoon vanilla<\/p>\n
Mix flour and sugar in a big bowl.<\/p>\n
In a saucepan place margarine, water, cocoa. \u00a0Bring to a boil<\/p>\n
Pour over flour and sugar. \u00a0Mix<\/p>\n
In another bowl add baking soda, vanilla, eggs, salt, milk<\/p>\n
Add to above mix.<\/p>\n
Pour into greased cookie sheet pan. \u00a0Bake at 350 for 20 minutes<\/p>\n
Make frosting last 5 minutes of cook time. \u00a0Frost while cake is hot.<\/p>\n
FROSTING<\/p>\n
1 teaspoon vanilla<\/p>\n
1 stick margarine<\/p>\n
3 Tablespoons cocoa powder<\/p>\n
5 Tablespoons milk<\/p>\n
1 – 1 pound package of powdered sugar (I always use more than 1 pound)<\/p>\n
1\/2 cup nuts<\/p>\n
In a saucepan add margarine, cocoa, milk. \u00a0Melt, but don’t boil. \u00a0Then add powdered sugar. \u00a0Thin enough to spread, but not runny. \u00a0Then add vanilla and nuts.<\/p>\n
